you should ask the fellow, just by surfing on internet and gathering information about any art, does nt make him expert of that art either... i am the chief instructor of F.S.Ninja Academy and I m not sure i have met this fellow at my dojo... which dojo he was visiting? does he has the courage to come to me face to face and discus the issue? can he demonstrate something he is writting... just for his knowledge i have been training with 1 of the senior student of Hatsumi sensie.. and i know bujinkan better then him.. i m in contact with these people for more then 12 years...... lets invite this fellow to perform some real ninjas skills infront of all of our students and see how authentic skills he has learnt so far and then will show him ours

It seems that u hv studied the history of ninjutsu or may be u hv seen some documentaries,... I agree with what u hv written. Ninja art basically comes from chinese principles of spying and combat SUN TZU.... Your comments are about ninjutsu, not about teaching Bando as ninjutsu.... What is your lineage??? There are only 3 main schools of ninjutsu world wide with little differences: Bujinkan, Genbukan and Ginenkan. Which of these is your lineage??? If you compare your training to tai karate centre, its the same. How can a Bando practitioner teach somebody ninjutsu.... Try to understand my friend,... if u hv black belt in karate, u cannot say u r a master of taekwondo or boxing, the method, the technique is different. For example Biology and methamatics both r branches of science but both r different disciplines, u cannot learn one and claim to be the master of another.... Ask your teacher from where master farhat abbas learned ninjutsu??? If someone learns kickboxing, watches some ninja movies, study its history and wears ninja camouflage it never makes him a ninja. Besides most of the old authentic ninja techniques are still valid today, thats why thousands of people still practice the same old ways

about replying to your comment:

1. ninjutsu don't mean a set of techniques, rather, its a way of implementing those techniques

2. man to man combat is the least important part of ninjutsu

3. In the academy, juniors below black (or brown sometimes) don't get even a clue of whats taught ahead (and ya, it's alot different from what you saw in those seminars too :) )

4. the term ninja / ninjutsu was never used by those who we refer to by these terms. Infact Ninja is the chinese pronunciation of the Japanese term Shinobi (no mono) - I'm not sure that if the term ninja don't belong to the people of iga or koga themselves, then how can the ones who coined it define what they practiced too :)

5. i agree with you that there were specific traditional things done by them, which have a better essence of them, no doubt about that

6. things change with time and space, like masaki clan is not like the assassins of feudal japan, similarly people living miles away from them have different stuff incorporated,
